Reconstructive chest surgery or ‘top surgery’ as it's often called, may be sought by trans or non-binary folk who were assigned female at birth (AFAB) in order to remove breast tissue and give the chest a more masculine form.
Surgeons will generally require a patient to wear chest compression for a number of weeks following top surgery. The types of compression can vary from bandages to specialist garments. We've designed our post-op chest binders to provide the required level of compression whist still ensuring comfort and ease of use. Multiple fastenings such as Velcro shoulder straps and a zip-front are designed to make wound dressing easier.
