How to choose an FTM packer

Most people start with a smaller packer for everyday wear and add a larger one later for jeans, swimwear or special occasions.

Skin tones

Both packers come in five skin tones, from light to deep.

Silicone or foam?

Silicone packers feel softer and more lifelike, and keep their shape over time. Foam packers are lighter and cheaper, and you can trim them to shape. Our Packing Boxers with Packer come with a removable foam packer if you’d like to try packing before buying silicone.

Keeping your packer in place

A silicone packer is heavier than foam, so it needs support. Wear it in packing underwear with a built-in pouch, or in our [Packer Harness] under any underwear. See our packing underwear range, or read how to choose packing underwear.

Caring for a silicone packer

Wash your packer with warm water and mild, unscented soap, then let it air dry. Store it away from other silicone items and out of direct sunlight.

FAQ

What is an FTM packer? An FTM packer is a soft prosthetic worn in underwear to create a bulge at the front. Female to male packers are used by trans men, transmasc and non-binary people to reduce dysphoria and feel more comfortable in their clothes.

What size packer should I get? If it’s your first packer, start with a small one. Our small packer is 9.5 cm long and suits most everyday outfits; the large is 13.5 cm for more presence.

How do I keep a packer in place? Use packing underwear with a pouch or a packer harness (also called a packer strap). Silicone packers are heavier than foam, so they can slip in regular underwear.

Is a silicone packer better than a foam packer? Silicone looks and feels more realistic and lasts longer; foam is lighter, cheaper and easy to trim. Many people own one of each.

Can I return a packer? Unfortunately not. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of packers or harnesses.
